TORONTO, ON and SEATTLE, WA – Jan 20, 2010 - Hosted Data Transaction Solutions Inc. (“HDX”) announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Posera Inc. (“Posera”) of Seattle, Washington. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

New sales management system to be rolled out nationwide

Robert Dutil, Minister of Revenue launched a pilot project today with the intent of fighting, and defeating tax evasion in the restaurant sector. The project revolves around the obligation of restaurateurs to provide their clients with bills and to use a sales recording module (SRM), also known as a fiscal printer, to produce them. Approximately 50 establishments from the restaurant sector have volunteered to participate. The duration of this pilot project is slated to be 6 months.
