MSE Branded Foods Updates POS Technology

Posera Software Inc., announced today that its installation at 6 MSE Branded Foods locations has been completed. With a number of restaurants and retail outlets in each of their 5 airport locations and a food court in a shopping center, MSE selected Maitre’D for all of their existing and future sites as MSE is constantly looking to expand their business and add new locations.
In the past, some MSE locations were using cash registers, while others were using an outdated POS system. The objective was to find and implement a single POS system that could effectively streamline operations in all of their locations. Mr. Ed Jones, Vice-President of Finance at MSE Branded Foods, states: “Presently, MSE is very pleased that the rollout has gone so smoothly, and we appreciate the fact that the Maitre’D installation staff has taken extra steps to ensure total customer satisfaction. Moreover, MSE is already noticing benefits such as significant labor efficiencies, thus a decrease in labor costs, as well as ease of operation. Our end of day routine is nearly an hour shorter thanks to Maitre’D.”
Mr. Jones added that the most important criteria for selecting a POS system was the service the company could offer rather than focusing solely on technical functionality. Mr. Jones adds: “MSE Branded Foods selected Maitre’D frankly because the support and service was superior to that of the competition.”
The average Maitre’D POS configuration for an MSE site consists of approximately 9 workstations with 8 revenue centers respectively. Each installation is currently using Maitre’D’s real-time reporting capabilities through the Web, the e-Global corporate solution, EFT and Accounts Receivable. MSE will shortly add the Inventory module to this mix.
